Our gold medal-winning traditional German-style Hefeweizen is essential for sipping for long summer days. This beer is named El Jefe/The Boss after our Brewmaster Iain Hill who was one of the first to make a traditional Hefeweizen way back in 1995, long before anyone in Vancouver really knew what a Hefe-what was. Iain has continued to make it according to his original recipe ever since he was “gifted” the yeast culture from Germany’s Libinger Brewery. 20+ years later, it’s pouring better than ever!
