Strange Fellows Brewing stands on hallowed ground where once, many years ago, the ocean met the forest. It is said that this liminal space of supernatural energy was a sacred gateway between the realms of the living and the dead. In the years since, human hands have defiled the landscape, subjugating nature to satisfy their greed and create an abnormal dominion. Little do they know that despite their endeavors, they strive in vain… no matter how many trees they fell or how much iron and concrete underpin their developments, nature will manifest herself – the sea will return, and the gateway will always exist.
Now, as autumn fades to winter and the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead thins, these spirits of those long dead have returned. Beware of those with vengeance in their black hearts and who seek revenge for the wrongs that have been done.
The False Creek Brewers have returned to continue with their mission to brew for their friends who have a taste for full-bodied beer and as always, they’re on the hunt for hunt for fresh ingredients for their abominable beer: YOU!
The White Lady – ever-vindictive for her untimely death – is doomed to wander these grounds forever, searching for her beloved lost children. Heed this warning and take care that she doesn’t mistake you for her flesh and blood.
Watch out as well for the Psychopomp perpetually tasked with guiding Lost Souls to the afterlife, lest he think you a Lost Soul and escorts you to the other side.
We can confirm that these demons are afoot AND that they’ve brought along a host of new spiteful souls with them this year.
Are you brave enough to enter an all-new HAUNTED BREWHOUSE that’s crawling with the Dead and enough frights to make you spill your beer? If you dare, can you make it through without becoming the body in their brew or becoming a lost soul yourself! Reviving beer and an otherworldly party with the dead await all those who survive.

What is the Dead Fellows Haunted Brewhouse at Strange Fellows Brewing?
STRANGE DEAD FELLOWS HAUNTED BREWHOUSE is a spine-tingling experience at Strange Fellows Brewing, taking place over 2 weekends, 18th/19th/20th & 25th/26th/27th October. Step into the eerie otherworld world of our brewery transformed into a haunted spectacle. A self-guided tour through our Haunted Brewhouse with all sorts of special surprises and frights, this experience is perfect to get you in the mood for the scary season!
When and What Are the Ticket Prices?
– Dates and Hours: The Haunted Brewhouse runs from the 18th, 19th, 20th & 25th, 26th, 27th October.
– Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
– General Admission, $35
-General Admission on Sunday 20th October, $30
Tickets are for entry only and do not include a drink. Tickets can be conveniently purchased online. Age restrictions apply, under 15 years must be accompanied by a guardian.
I arrived after my suggested arrival time, can I skip the line?
Tickets are sold in 1 hour increments to manage the flow of guests, so it’s important to show up on time. If you miss your time slot, we’ll do our best but we cannot guarantee your wait time.
How many people will go through at once?
We will be sending people in groups of 4 so be aware that you may be grouped with someone you don’t know, we reserve the right to change group configuration.
What Can I Expect During the Haunted Brewery?
Prepare to embark on a self-guided tour through our haunted brewery. You’re encouraged to dress up in your spookiest attire. Prepare for a spooky evening of fun and scares, think Halloween haunted house, but in our haunted brewery. The event is no-contact (our actors will not touch you and you will not touch them).
Also, strobe and flashing lights are to be expected. Please be advised that the experience is designed to scare so please be aware if you have any of these conditions: high blood pressure, heart disease or heart condition, epilepsy, or pregnancy.
I haven’t bought a ticket online but I want to attend, what should I do?
We will reserve a limited amount of tickets for purchase on the night of the event.
Is the Event Safe? What Are the Safety Measures?
The event is safe, especially when parents accompany their children. Wheelchair accessibility is not available. We have stringent safety measures in place to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all. But be aware that the brewery is haunted, will be dark, there will be jump scares and the intention is for it to be scary.
Is this event for all ages?
Ages 15 years and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
How Can I Purchase Tickets, and What Are the Entry Options?
Tickets are available for purchase online. Please note that all tickets are non-refundable but are transferable. You can choose either mobile entry or physical tickets, we will require QR codes for entry.
What Are the Parking and Transportation Options?
Street parking is available around Clark Drive. Additionally, the VCC SkyTrain station and various bus routes are close to our location.
Is the lineup outside?
Yes, the lineup to enter the Haunted Brewhouse will be outside but covered. Your ticket will have a suggested arrival time so you may have to wait a little.
Will food be available?
Our Haunted Tasting Room will be open for drinks and snacks, and decorated to the nines for Halloween too.
Are Costumes Allowed? What Items Should I Avoid Bringing?
Costumes are encouraged in the tasting room, although we will not allow any props or masks into the Haunt. We kindly ask that attendees do not arrive intoxicated, as entry will be refused and tickets will not be refunded. We are an inclusive space and do not tolerate violence. No backpacks/large bags/umbrellas/flashlights/hats/masks will be permitted inside the haunt either. No food or beverage including alcohol is allowed in the haunt please do not smoke or vape inside. Dangerous items are not allowed on the premises.
What is the maximum group size?
We will be sending groups through in 4, and if possible, the maximum group size will be 6 individuals at one time.

Is the Haunted Brewhouse wheelchair accessible?
We want our haunt to be open to everyone. If you have specific needs or accessibility issues that you would like to make us aware of, we encourage you to email us at marketing@strangefellowsbrewing.com to discuss. We can accommodate those who have a physical disability or other accessibility needs, however, there are particular times of the day when we are able to offer these accommodations and offer a more immersive experience. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.
Can I go through the haunt more than once?
Sorry no your ticket is only valid for one time. Besides, you’ll be so scared you won’t want to go through it again.
Can we take photos inside the haunt?
No, photography or video is not allowed inside the actual haunted house. However, photos and videos are encouraged outside. There will be an area in the tent as you exit that will be a great place for a photo, as well as our tasting room will be decorated for the event.
If I don’t make it through can I have a refund?
Sorry, there are no refunds, if you get TOO SCARED then we’ve done a good job!

We have a special Halloween beer called PSYCHOPOMP a dark lager, being released for the event.
