BREWER’S NOTES 

Our gold-medal-winning traditional German-style Hefeweizen is essential for sipping for long summer days. Our Brewmaster Iain Hill was one of the first in Canada to make a traditional Hefeweizen way back in 1995, long before anyone in Vancouver really knew what a Hefe-what was. Iain has continued to make it according to his original recipe ever since he was “gifted” the yeast culture from Germany’s Leibinger Brewery. 25+ years later, it’s pouring better than ever! 

Brewed with a special yeast culture that yields unique fruity and spicy flavours this is a traditional Bavarian wheat beer. Bright and highly carbonated with delicate flavours of banana and clove, Heffios will leave you very refreshed and ready for another.
