Russian Imperial Stout
Release from the 2015 Fellowship
This beer began with Boris, our much-loved Russian Imperial Stout. Instead of Bourbon barrels we tucked it away for a year in a mix of French and American oak red wine barrels. Then we set about blending small amounts of it with different coffee varieties until we settled on a blend of Arabica beans we feel complements and enhances this big beer. Boris was actually used to make a huge batch of cold brew.
